For financial advisors, RIAs, and wealth management firms

AI coaching for financial advisors, from couples discovery to nervous-market calls

Amotions AI gives financial advisors and RIA teams private, real-time coaching on client calls, from couples discovery to the conversations that decide AUM retention in volatile markets. A Steps tracker shows which topics are still open, prompts suggest the next question or objection reply, and managers review scorecards after. It never joins as a bot or gives investment advice.

Amotions AI for wealth management

What is Amotions AI for wealth management?

Amotions AI is real-time conversation coaching for client-facing advisors. It reads what a client says and how they say it, then shows the advisor one private next step drawn from the firm’s approved language: before, during, and after the client conversations that decide whether assets stay.

  • Live client-call coaching: a private overlay in the Mac or Windows desktop app, beside Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or a phone on speaker, suggests the next question while the client is still talking.
  • A tracker for what you have uncovered: a Phases / Steps list on the advisor’s screen shows which discovery topics are covered and which are still open (for example “Risk comfort, each partner”), so nothing is missed when two people are talking.
  • Emotion reads framed by MSCEIT: words and delivery are read together to name the client’s state (hesitant, guarded, curious) using the Mayer-Salovey-Caruso model of emotional intelligence, shown as a word rather than a score.
  • AI roleplay drills: advisors rehearse volatility calls, fee conversations, and second-opinion meetings against an AI client and are scored before a real client calls.
  • Post-call scorecards: each call is scored against your review process, with client sentiment and the follow-up risks to act on next.
  • Trained on your firm’s language: upload playbooks and approved talk tracks; Amotions calibrates to them, typically in about a week, so prompts sound like your best advisors.
  • Never a meeting participant: Amotions does not join the call as a bot or notetaker. Clients and other attendees do not see it.

The conversations we coach

Which client conversations do advisors get coached on?

Couples discovery meetings where two partners want different things, and the objection calls that decide retention: a worried client asking whether to get out, a fee question in a down year, or a wish to wait for a spouse. Amotions cues the advisor to slow down and ask, using firm-approved language.

  • Market drop

“The market’s down again. Should we just get out until it settles?”

Amotions cues: Acknowledge the worry before any market commentary, ask what specifically is weighing on them, then walk back through the goals and time horizon in their plan. Recommendations stay with the advisor.

  • Fee in a down year

“Why am I paying a fee when my account is down?”

Amotions cues: Don’t defend the fee first. Ask what they expect the relationship to cover, then recap the planning, tax coordination, and service work in firm-approved language.

  • Couples discovery

“I’d like to stop at sixty. He thinks we should keep working longer.”

Amotions cues: Don’t pick a side. Ask each partner what their timeline would make possible, reflect both answers back, and mark goals as covered only once both have spoken.

  • Spouse not on the call

“I want to talk it over with my spouse before we change anything.”

Amotions cues: Validate the decision, ask whether their spouse would like to join the next conversation, and set a dated follow-up with the open question on the agenda.

More advisor objections, with poor and better responses, are in the sales objection library.

How it works

How does real-time AI coaching support AUM retention during market volatility?

Retention is decided in a handful of emotional client conversations. Amotions connects three features to them: roleplay so advisors have rehearsed the call, live objection handling while the client is on the line, and scorecards afterward that show which relationships need follow-up. All three use your firm’s playbook.

  1. Before the call

    1Practice

AI roleplay: advisors rehearse the volatility call, the fee conversation, or the second-opinion meeting against an AI client, then get scored on tone, listening, and whether they returned to the plan.

Outcome: Advisors have practiced the retention conversation before a market drop puts it on the calendar.

  2. During the call

    2Live

Live objection handling: a private overlay names the client’s emotional state, suggests one next question from your approved language, and tracks which discovery steps are still open. It never joins the call as a visible participant, so the client conversation stays one-to-one.

Outcome: The moment a client considers moving assets gets the firm’s planned response while the client is still on the call.

  3. After the call

    3Review

Post-call scorecards check whether the advisor acknowledged the concern, revisited goals, included decision partners, and set a dated next step, alongside client sentiment and follow-up risks.

Outcome: Managers see which client relationships need a follow-up before a nervous call becomes a transfer request.

FAQ

Questions wealth management teams ask

Straight answers on privacy, playbook training, plans, and how Amotions fits the conversations your team already has.

How does real-time AI coaching improve wealth management client retention?

It helps advisors handle the conversations where clients decide whether to stay, especially during market volatility. Amotions AI shows private prompts during the call, such as acknowledging the worry and revisiting the client’s goals before any market commentary, drawn from your firm’s approved language. It does not give investment advice or guarantee retention.

How does Amotions help in a discovery meeting with a couple?

When two partners describe different goals, timelines, or comfort with risk, the overlay suggests a question for each person and reminds the advisor to hear both answers before moving on. The client conversation stays with the advisor; Amotions only coaches privately.

Can I see what I have already uncovered in a discovery call?

Yes. A Phases / Steps tracker on the advisor’s screen shows which discovery topics are covered and which are still open, built from your firm’s discovery process. After the call, the scorecard shows which steps were skipped.

Is AI call coaching compliant for financial advisors under SEC and FINRA rules?

Amotions AI does not certify compliance with SEC or FINRA rules. It coaches from talk tracks your firm approves and does not generate investment recommendations. Recording consent, supervision, and books-and-records obligations stay with your firm’s existing systems and compliance team, so review them before rollout.

Can financial advisors practice difficult client conversations with AI roleplay?

Yes. Advisors rehearse couples discovery, volatility calls, fee objections, second-opinion meetings, and “I need to talk to my spouse” follow-ups against an AI client, and are scored on listening, tone, and next-step clarity before the real conversation.

Does Amotions AI give investment advice to clients or advisors?

No. Prompts coach how the advisor runs the conversation: questions to ask, concerns to acknowledge, and approved language for fees and process. Investment recommendations and suitability remain the advisor’s responsibility.

Can AI help us follow up web and ad leads and book a consultation with our senior advisor?

Yes. Add your follow-up call as a playbook: the opener, discovery questions, and how you book the consultation. During the phone call, a private panel shows which questions are still open and suggests your own wording when the lead hesitates. Afterwards the call is scored against the same steps.

Does Amotions AI use our own script and knowledge guide on live calls?

Yes, on every plan. An admin builds the call steps under Organization settings, Playbooks, and you upload your script and knowledge guide. Live prompts can show your exact wording. Your firm writes the wording, and the AI follows your script.

Which Amotions AI plan does a solo advisor or small firm need?

Start on the free Basic plan, which includes every Professional feature except custom AI agents, with limited live-coaching time. Paid plans add monthly live-coaching hours, so choose by how many hours of calls you want coached. Every plan and limit is on the pricing page.

Can I keep suggested lines on screen long enough to read them word for word?

Yes. Switch the panel to Expanded view, which keeps every suggestion from the call on screen, newest first, and lower the maximum suggestions per minute in Settings, from 1 to 12. Compact view, the default, shows only the latest suggestion.

Why did my live coaching minutes go down when I was not on a call?

Live coaching time counts while a coached session is running, even if nobody is talking. Click Disconnect or stop the session when a call ends, and start a new one on your next call. In the desktop app, sign in with the same account your playbook is in.

Does Amotions join the call as a bot or notetaker?

No. Amotions runs as a private desktop or web overlay on the rep’s own screen. It never joins Zoom, Teams, or Meet as an attendee, and the person on the other side of the conversation never sees the prompts.

Which plan do I need to train Amotions on our own playbook?

Playbook-trained custom agents are on every paid plan, from Starter up. Start free on Basic to try coaching, roleplay, and scoring built around your own process, then move to Professional when you need more usage.

How long does it take to train Amotions on our playbook?

Teams upload their playbook, approved objection responses, product knowledge, and talk tracks. Calibration typically takes about one week, after which live prompts, roleplay scenarios, and scorecards use your language instead of a generic script library.

Are our calls used to train public AI models?

No. Amotions never uses customer conversations to train third-party foundation models. Workloads run in isolated, encrypted cloud environments separated by customer workspace. Details are on the Trust Center at /security.
