Mortgage loan officers and brokers

A live call coach for loan officers on dialer and borrower calls

Yes, there is a loan officer call coach: Amotions AI sits beside Five9, ViciDial or a similar dialer and privately tells mortgage loan officers and brokers what to say next when a borrower pushes back on rate, timing or another lender. Prompts come from your approved scripts. It never quotes rates or underwrites loans.

Amotions AI for mortgage

How does a loan officer call coach work beside Five9 or ViciDial?

Amotions runs as a private overlay next to your dialer, not inside it. Speaker or computer audio plus the Amotions desktop app, or a browser tab-share, lets the coach hear both sides, so your dialer setup does not change. The borrower never sees or hears the prompts.

  • Five9: Works only through that computer-audio path: speaker or computer audio plus the desktop app or a browser tab-share. There is no native Five9 API or in-dialer whisper.
  • ViciDial and GoHighLevel: Both are overlay entries on our Integrations page: live coaching beside the agent screen when call audio is shareable, plus recording upload for post-call scoring. No native dialer API.
  • Your playbook: Customers upload their playbooks, approved objections and rebuttals, product knowledge, and talk tracks. Amotions AI calibrates to that language—typically about one week—so roleplay scores and live prompts reflect the firm’s process rather than a generic script library. Live prompts can show the exact wording from the uploaded talk tracks, follow rules such as not moving to the pitch until set discovery items are answered, and do not ask for information the buyer already gave. Managers can review whether approved prompts were followed on real calls after the fact.
  • Systems of record: Loan officers keep logging activity in your loan origination system and CRM as they do today. The coach does not replace either.
  • Small-team pricing: Basic is free. Starter is $49/seat/month billed annually ($59 billed monthly), so a 5-seat team is $245 a month on annual billing. See the pricing question below for 1 and 10 seats.

The conversations we coach

What should a loan officer say to rate, timing and competitor objections?

These are illustrative prompts, not scripts to read. When a borrower says your rate is too high, wants to wait, or is already working with another loan officer, Amotions surfaces one private question from your approved playbook so you diagnose the objection before you answer it. It never invents rates or credit decisions.

  • Rate too high

“Your rate is higher than what I saw online.”

Amotions cues: Ask what they are comparing: loan type, points, lock period and the scenario behind the quote. Then use your approved value language. Do not quote a competing rate.

  • Timing

“I’m going to wait and see if rates drop.”

Amotions cues: Ask what they are waiting for and what happens to their plans if nothing changes, then offer a dated follow-up in approved, non-pressure language. No rate predictions.

  • Another loan officer

“I’m already working with another loan officer.”

Amotions cues: Ask how far along they are and what would make them comfortable comparing. Run discovery on goals and process, not claims about the other lender.

How it works

How does AI coaching work for loan officers before, during, and after a call?

Loan officer coaching is one loop: practice compliant talk tracks offline, get private prompts on live dialer and borrower calls, then score the same behaviors managers and compliance already track. Compliance reviews the uploaded prompts before they go live.

  1. Before the call

    1Practice

Newer loan officers roleplay a rate-first dialer contact, a “wait for rates” stall and a borrower already working with another lender before taking live leads.

  2. During the call

    2Live

Beside Five9, ViciDial or a browser dialer, a private overlay suggests what to say next and nudges the loan officer back to the next qualification step. No bot joins, and it never quotes rates.

  3. After the call

    3Review

Scorecards cover qualification completeness, objection handling, adherence to approved prompts and a dated next step, so managers can review whether approved prompts were followed.

More mortgage objections

How does the AI coach partner, competitor, and “let me think” objections?

The coach helps the loan officer diagnose the objection before answering it. It suggests one private question from your approved scripts and disclosures, so a vague stall turns into a specific open item with a date. It never speaks to the borrower, quotes a rate, or locks a loan.

  • Partner decision

“I need to talk to my partner.”

Ask what the partner will want clarified (payment, cash to close, or process), then offer a joint call with that agenda. Mortgage files are household decisions.

  • Competing quote

“Another lender said they can beat that.”

Ask what was quoted (rate, points, lock period, estimated cash to close) and whether it was a Loan Estimate or a verbal number. Compare like for like inside your approved disclosures.

  • Let me think

    “Let me think about it.”

Ask which part they want to think through: payment, lock risk, credit impact, or partner alignment. Then schedule a short follow-up on that topic.

  • Online lender

“The online lender is cheaper and I can do it on my phone.”

Acknowledge the convenience. Ask what “cheaper” included and what happens if the file needs a person during conditions. Stay factual; never invent a competitor weakness.

Origination signals

Which borrower signals does Amotions help loan officers catch?

Borrower intent usually shows up as process questions, not “I’ll take it.” When one comes up, the private overlay suggests a concrete next step: a document list, a lock decision, or a booked joint call, in your branch-approved language.

  • Pre-approval for a showing

The borrower asks how fast they can get a pre-approval letter for this weekend. The cue: a document list and a dated application step, not a verbal “you’re probably fine.”

  • Lock questions

They ask how long a lock lasts or what happens if closing slips. The cue: a clear explanation of your lock policy, then a decision.

  • Partner’s calendar

They mention when their partner is free. The cue: book the joint call now instead of “have them call me.”

  • Outstanding documents

They ask which documents they still owe. The cue: a specific list, an owner, and a deadline tied to the lock or closing date.

AI roleplay

What mortgage roleplay scenarios can loan officers practice?

Loan officers rehearse the high-frequency moments before a live borrower is on the line, against an AI borrower, scored on your criteria. Feedback looks at discovery, lock clarity, and the next step, not pressure tactics.

  • Match it on the spot

An inbound shopper says another lender is a quarter point lower and wants you to match now. Goal: diagnose product and lock differences, avoid matching unsupervised, and book a Loan Estimate comparison.

  • Waiting on the Fed

A pre-approved couple wants to wait on the Fed even though their offer is due Friday. Goal: separate headline anxiety from the contract timeline, without a rate forecast, and leave with a lock-or-float decision.

  • The busy co-borrower

One borrower likes the scenario; the partner has not seen cash to close and is “busy this week.” Goal: surface the partner’s likely questions and schedule a short joint review.

After the call

What does scoring show managers after a borrower call?

After the call, the scorecard covers discovery depth, rate-shop handling, co-borrower alignment, the lock explanation, and whether the next step was specific: a joint call, a document list, or an application start. Managers use it to assign the next roleplay.

  • Assign the next roleplay

A loan officer who struggled with a competing quote practices the rate-shop scenario next; one who let a Fed stall end undated practices that.

  • Upload when live capture was off

Recorded calls can be uploaded and scored against the same criteria as live ones.

  • No outcome promises

Scorecards measure the behaviors you coach. They do not predict pull-through or close rates.

FAQ

Questions mortgage teams ask

Straight answers on privacy, playbook training, plans, and how Amotions fits the conversations your team already has.

Is there a loan officer call coach?

Yes. Amotions AI is a real-time call coach for mortgage loan officers and brokers. It listens privately beside your dialer and suggests what to say next on rate, timing and competitor objections, runs AI roleplay before the call, and scores the call after. Prompts come from your approved scripts.

Can AI help with pricing objections?

Yes, by helping the loan officer diagnose the objection rather than quoting a price. When a borrower says your rate is too high, Amotions privately suggests asking what they are comparing (loan type, points, lock period and scenario), then your approved value language. It never quotes or invents rates.

Does the loan officer call coach work with Five9?

Yes, through computer audio only. Loan officers use speaker or computer audio plus the Amotions desktop app or a browser tab-share so the coach hears both sides. That is overlay coaching beside Five9, not a native Five9 API or in-dialer whisper.

Does it work with ViciDial or GoHighLevel?

Yes, as an overlay. Both are listed on our Integrations page with overlay compatibility: live coaching beside the agent screen when call audio is shareable, plus recording upload for post-call scoring. There is no native ViciDial or GoHighLevel API.

Can we upload our own mortgage playbook and rebuttals?

Customers upload their playbooks, approved objections and rebuttals, product knowledge, and talk tracks.

How much does a loan officer call coach cost for a small team?

Basic is free with limited usage, so one loan officer can try it first. Starter is $49/seat/month billed annually ($59 billed monthly): one seat is $49 a month, a 5-seat team $245 and a 10-seat team $490 ($590 billed monthly). Professional is $99/seat/month billed annually ($109 billed monthly), or $990 a month for 10 seats ($1,090 billed monthly). Starter includes 11 hours of real-time AI coaching a month; Professional includes 23 hours of real-time AI coaching, 100 AI roleplay sessions, 1,000 AI chat messages, and 100 transcript uploads a month. Full details are on /pricing.

Does Amotions quote mortgage rates or underwrite loans?

No. The coach does not provide loan pricing, credit decisions, or underwriting. Loan officers use your approved language and systems of record. Amotions does not replace licensed mortgage advice.

Does it work with Velocify and Encompass?

Alongside them, not inside them. There is no native Velocify or Encompass integration. When loan officers take Velocify or Five9 calls through computer or speaker audio, the desktop app coaches the live call privately. After each call you get a transcript and notes with action items, ready to copy into Velocify or Encompass.

Does it connect to our loan origination system?

No loan origination system is listed on our Integrations page, so do not plan on one. On dialer calls the coach runs as an overlay, and loan officers keep logging activity in your LOS and CRM as they do today.

Does Amotions join the call as a bot or notetaker?

No. Amotions runs as a private desktop or web overlay on the rep’s own screen. It never joins Zoom, Teams, or Meet as an attendee, and the person on the other side of the conversation never sees the prompts.

Which plan do I need to train Amotions on our own playbook?

Playbook-trained custom agents are on every paid plan, from Starter up. Start free on Basic to try coaching, roleplay, and scoring built around your own process, then move to Professional when you need more usage.

How long does it take to train Amotions on our playbook?

Teams upload their playbook, approved objection responses, product knowledge, and talk tracks. Calibration typically takes about one week, after which live prompts, roleplay scenarios, and scorecards use your language instead of a generic script library.

Are our calls used to train public AI models?

No. Amotions never uses customer conversations to train third-party foundation models. Workloads run in isolated, encrypted cloud environments separated by customer workspace. Details are on the Trust Center at /security.
